California Delta Fly Fishing Report

Delta Fishing Report:

Striper fishing on the Delta is going strong! The waters gave warmer & cleared throughout the Delta, water temperatures are 55-60 degrees in various parts of the Delta. Stripers will likely spawn in next few weeks so fishing should be great. The last few times out I have I been averaging 10-20fish. Most fish we have been finding are smaller “schoolies” but 3-5lb fish are mixed in & the occasional larger fish can be found as well! Spring season is just getting rolling & prime fishing is just around the corner. For sub-surface Stripers I am using 1/0-3/0 “Steve Adachi” style rattle Clouser flies in various color combinations. Get out fishing or book your Spring Delta adventure soon before it’s all over!
