There are many solid trout fishing options in the North State right now! This week
should be particularly awesome with the cooler weather & overcast afternoons
we are experiencing.
Currently, I’m most excited about fishing Fall River, Lower Sac, and the Pit #3, while doing skills-building sessions for beginners, kids, and novices on places like Hat Creek, Burney Creek and Baum Lake. Summer season is upon us, which means trico spinnerfall mornings, caddis in the afternoon, midge fishing all day and Hexing at night.

The waters around Clearwater Lodge continue to fish well and we’ve been having a lot of fun each day picking and poking out the adventure spots. If you are looking for a comfortable place to take the family, teach the kids the art of fly fishing, or just want to get after it and explore some waters you have yet not fished… then come up and see us at Clearwater Lodge!!
