Burk's Hex Nymph in size 6 is a heavyweight pattern built to imitate the giant Hexagenia mayfly nymph. With lifelike movement and a hefty profile, it’s ideal for targeting big trout and bass in stillwaters and slow-moving rivers. Fish it deep on lakes like Clear Lake, Lake Almanor, or Fall River, especially leading up to and during the famed Hex hatch in late spring and summer. Dead drift under an indicator or slow-strip on a sinking line near weed beds and drop-offs where fish are hunting large prey.
