The Steve Adachi Surf Clouser is hands down our favorite striper fly. The amount of time he puts into every fly shows. Putting 20-minute epoxy makes the fly extremely durable where you can catch up to 100 stripers with the same fly. I know this because Trout Unlimted's own Tim Frahm has done it! The jig hook and the makes the fly move much more than a regular clouser, which helps attract striped bass in lower visible water like the delta or the Chesapeake Bay. Time and time again this fly has produced fish, it is a proven pattern that every serious striper angler must have before heading into the season.
