Though still flowing about 1500 cfs above normal, water levels are
heading in the right direction for the Rogue’s trout opener on May 27th.
Salmonflies and golden stones should start flying end of May/beginning
of June and pitching dries over the coming weeks serves as a highlight
for summer trout fishing in the Rogue Valley. After months of enduring
high water, the rainbows and coastal cutthroat will certainly be looking
up, ready to gorge on the big bugs!
