Rogue River Fly Fishing Report
Jim Andras Reports on 6.9.2017
The salmonfly hatch really got going last week on the upper Rogue with bugs crawling and flying in impressive numbers. As usual, it took the fish a few days to start capitalizing on the steady stream of food floating overhead. However, the response did click and we should see our best window of dry fly fishing on the Rogue through the end of the month. This is a great time to experience a different side of the Rogue during arguably the most scenic season. Say hello to summer with a beautiful float casting dry flies to rainbows and coastal cutthroat.
