Pyramid Lake Fly Fishing
John Fochetti Reports on 3.2.2016
Pyramid was a bit slower this last week due to the nice weather. With no wind and bright sunny skies early morning and evening produced the bite. There was not as many fish caught in the 15-20 pound range but still plenty around ten pounds.
However, this next week has plenty of rain, snow, wind and clouds in the
forecast. So I would definitely recommend getting out there over the
next ten days. More and more cruisers have been spotted, and they should
be willing to eat with some help from Mother Nature.
Flies have been the same as the past few weeks with balanced leeches in
olive and black producing the larger fish. Numbers are being found on
the old standbys. Mahalo midges and Pyramid midges in red, olive and
black.
Still plenty of days available this month and next, contact me for a day!
