Lower Yuba River Fishing Report

Lower Yuba RiverDec 19, 20161 min read

Hogan Brown reports on 12.15.2016

The Lower Yuba River is at 5000cfs and dropping but with more rain and water on the way this week not sure how that is going to go. The South Fork of the Yuba River is pumping big time and pumping all sorts of mud and debris into Englebright which will most likely muddy up the river for a while. That said I feel comfortable fishing river around 2500-3000cfs with a 1’-6" of visibility. In those conditions I fish eggs, rubber legs, big attractor nymphs and streamers.
