Fishing continues to be great on the Lower Sac and should still be a top pick for Nor Cal, but don’t forget about the Upper Sac because it is also kicking out some great fishing! Labor Day weekend, on the Lower Sac, greeted us with some pleasant weather & big Rainbows, but we also had to deal with lots of jet skiers. The temps soared back up to the high 90s today and is calling to hit the 100s by Friday. The Upper Sac was killer yesterday and should keep producing good fishing. Try some dry dropper rigs in the pockets, or better yet, high stick the pockets without an indicator! Caddis and mayfly nymphs have been the top producers on the Lower and Upper Sac. As we approach fall keep an eye out for the egg bite on the Lower Sac and the October caddis hatch on the Upper Sac. Fall is awesome up here!
