All the rivers are still high and raging …. I have been getting out on the Oroville Afterbay for spotted bass and if the weather and conditions are timed right fishing can be decent. March and April are going to be reservoir and lake bass fishing I think for me for the most part. Oroville Afterbay, Clear Lake, Black Butte, Scotts Flat…smallies, spots, and largemouth … Trying to time my days to stable weather, no fronts moving in, and warmer temps. Hopefully by Mid April I will be able to get out striper fishing on the Sac and Feather.

When surf is down surf perch are being got in decent numbers. The bay remains to be to muddy for fly fishing. We need a few days for it to clear up.
