It’s wonderful that our California Delta, a vast waterway, with great fishing if located within an hour’s drive of the San Francisco
Bay Area. Just want to remind you that it makes it easy to have a great day of fishing and easily make it home for eating dinner with your loved ones.
Delta fishing for Striped Bass can be good if you are able to locate them. Now is a great time to break out your popper rod and go for Largemouth Bass. Foam or deer hair poppers make a great choice. One of my favorite flies is the KD Rat. It can be cast over the top of weeds into open pockets. It lands hook up so that you can pull it over the weeds without fouling your fly.
