This is the perfect reel for tight line or Euro style nymphing. Featuring an extremely large arbor and a frame design that keeps the endless lengths of super thin Euro leaders and lines perfectly in place, we tested the Galvan G.E.N. euro-specific reel on the East Walker and it has become our favorite Euro specific reel in the shop. The closed frame design creates a no slip through gap between the spool and frame while also accommodating the slimmer line profile of the sport. An added feature of the closed frame is that it also fits the Torque and Rush spools. The reel comes in two sizes- call the shop if you have any questions about how to pair with your favorite rod. In general we would recommend the lighter model for 2 and 3 weights and the heavier for any rod over 3.
