The Ross Evolution 0 is the smallest reel in the original Evolution series, purpose-built for the ultralight fly angler. Designed for 0 to 2 weight lines, this reel is ideal for tight, technical waters where finesse and delicate presentations are everything.
Machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and proudly made in Montrose, Colorado, the Evolution 0 features the same hallmark traits of the series: a large arbor design for quicker line pickup and reduced memory, along with a fully sealed, zero-maintenance drag system using carbon fiber and stainless steel components. Despite its small size, the drag was impressively smooth and reliable—perfect for protecting fine tippets on light rods.
